    Database

    Newbie question;
    How to transfer database from hosting1 to another hosting?
    My temporrary forum located at www.domain1.com, i want to transfer it to www.domain2.com and host at another hosting too.
    ```
    For your information i set up my new phpbb forum at www.domain2.com using bulettin board button in cpanel.
    jUz now i try to use phpMyadmin and export the data from the first host but it does not work.
    Any tutorial link to read?

    I dont understand what your trying to say. Are you moving host or trying to make a mirror?

    i did find a good tutorial link here

    the problem still occur when i try to upload file using phpMyadmin

    got this error: #1044 - Access denied for user: 'talkjesus@66.102.133.26' to database 'bibleverses'

    any idea?

    1. Backup your database using phpMyadmin, acquire a .sql dump for all your data.
    2. Move you forum scripts (all of them) to your new hosting.
    3. edit your forum configuration script to match the setting on new hosting. such setting needs to be updated are:
    database connection setting, absolut script path.
    4. run sql query using phpMyadmin on new hosting to move all database to new hosting

    There is a whole process that you can follow, for migration from one hosting to another. And there are some migration software's are also available that you can use that too for migration. So you can check out the steps.
