JIT compiler is the program that turns the byte code into the instructions which can be sent directly to the processor. It is mainly enabled by the byte codes of that method into native machine code. JIT compiler runs after the program started and complies the code on the fly into a form that's usually faster.

The Just-In-Time (JIT) compiler is a component of the Java™ Runtime Environment that improves the performance of Java applications at run time.
The JIT compiler is enabled by default. When a method has been compiled, the JVM calls the compiled code of that method directly instead of interpreting it.
