Forum Rules Welcome to
HotWebDesignTalk
We want to continually grow and keep the hostingchitchat.com forum as a
leading site and top forum for Web Hosters, Web Masters, Web designers, Domain
name owners and web Developers of all kinds.
HotWebDesignTalk is a place where members can Earn Learn, Share, and Master the
web together! In order for us all to enjoy our visits to HotWebHostingTalk, a
few rules need to be placed and followed. They are as follows:
When newcomers arrive, welcome them to our growing community. Many of our
community's "elders" (regardless of age) are a wealth of knowledge and have much
to share. Help new members learn about how to find information and resources,
save time, and how to get involved in the community.
Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or
posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples
include: empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current
thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy
or increase a member's post count. This determination is made by the forum
Moderator or Administrator and is not up for discussion.
-
No Affiliate/Referral Links
Affiliate links give posters an unfair advantage over others. As well, affiliate
links may lead to false representation simply in the effort to gain a lead or
referral. Therefore, Affiliate links will be modified or deleted.
-
Advertising
Keep advertising where it is allowed. Do not heedlessly place your
advertisements through the Discussion Forums. This will be considered SPAM and
could result in the loss of your HWHT Community Membership. Affiliate links are
not allowed within the forums. If you wish to promote a particular program then
promote the program not your own affiliate tie with it.
There may be places where explicit, obscene or vulgar language, graphics or
behavior is appropriate however HWHT is not one of them. Discussion forum posts
that contain explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed, No Flames of
any kind against a member, or group of members. Flames are considered a
deliberate personal attack on another member or group of members. Having a
difference of opinion is fine, but if it gets out of hand and turns into a fight
to get the biggest jab at the other person, then its gone too far. Similarly,
discussion forum posts that solicit or offer explicit or X-rated GIFs, JPEGs or
similar content files will be deleted without notice!
Do not post the same discussion more than once on a discussion forum or on many
forums. Duplicate discussions can be frustrating for other members, especially
for those whose time and energy is limited. Weeding through the same discussion
in multiple locations can be not only frustrating, but down right annoying.
Duplicate discussions will be deleted. Reposting the same message repeatedly can
be interpreted as SPAM and could result in the loss of your HWHT Community
Membership.

unrequested commercial and/or bulk message through the private message system
may result in an immediate suspension of posting privileges. Furthermore, any
reports of harassment via the PM system will be fully investigated. To report an
abusive or unwanted PM, please use the HWHT Contact Form.
