Well, I've been working with html for a month now and it's been hard and tough.
So I did a lil bit of websearchers, and found some very awesome html editors..

AceHtml 6.0 - has great javascript, css, html, functions and very easy to use
UltraEdit - A great tool for all
TextEdit - Not many great functions, but it's useful, if you don't want to load up a laggy html editor.

I've heard of dreamweaver.... I never searched for it. So can you send me a link to the download and information for dreamweaver?
You cant download dreamweaver legely but you can download the trial, it's made by macromedia and cost somthing like $399 i have it and it is brillient:D try http://www.macromedia.com

I use Macromedia Dreamweaver for a couple of years now.
I have the MX 2004 version.
There is a newer version out now. The Dreamweaver 8.

I usually start with netscape editor.
( Especially when making those tables tables and tables :-p)
then use PHP Ed

try dreamweaver and buy it.. worth every peny.. (wysiwyg)

notepad++ is also good, if you know html tag and codes.

I havnt made a site myself in years to be honest. Well not by myself anyway, but I remember using dreamweaver great software.

I prefer Adobe Dreamweaver which is the best HTML editors.
