How could you forget sites like Yahoo,Rediff and all who offer free email services.

You mention sites like http://liquid2k.com/ http://mail.arabia.com/ which are dead.

Brother, I haven't gone through each of the above mentioned sites, however, I have gone through most of them. So, I am sorry if some of the provided links are dead, but most of the provided links are working.

Bigmailbox.com, zzn.com, i-p.com provides you with a facility to give your users email facility. i-p.com is currently not accepting new sign-ups but bigmailbox.com and zzn.com are great. You should check them out yourself.

All you really need to give your users email addresses at your site is a cpanel email script which I'll get you if you want. They're easy to find and are usually free. As for my favorite free email provider, gmail.

yes, give them a separate password, and login, then tell them how to set up outlook express ;)

Here's a few free scripts that let you offer your visitors webmail:

Horde Bridge (http://www.nnexxezz.com/hbridge)
hBridge will present the user with one simple HTML authentication form. On successfull authentication, he or she will be logged straight into Horde. You can fully customize the login and logout pages and fit Horde seamlessly into the look, feel and layout of your site! (PHP)

Mambo Mail Lite (http://www.worldwidecreations.com/?mambo-mail-lite)
This module will give all of your Mambo users email addresses @yourdomain.com (your domain). Any email sent to user@yourdomain.com will be forwarded to user's email address they have on file with Mambo. (PHP)

WeMail (http://www.watty.com/myscripts/wemail.html)
Wemail is a Web-based email program written in Perl. It checks POP and IMAP and sends via sendmail or SMTP. It has all the basic features: custom folders, address book, attachments, html email, filters, sorting, search, message labeling and more. It requres only CGI.pm. (CGI/Perl)

Ken, WeMail is awesome, and very very very useful. I'm thinking about using it in the future, or try to program my own.
